Using the Notepad

We have put together a lot of information, explanations and addresses on this internet site. To use this information as effectively as possible, you can compile what is important to you on a “Notepad”. That way you don’t have to take notes and can take the results of your research with you for example on a diskette.

Placing texts on the Notepad

The Notepad works similarly to a “shopping cart” for online shopping. A click on the small box in the upper right corner next to the heading moves the text segment onto the Notepad. This text segment is then marked with a check. You can now continue to explore our site and place other text segments on the Notepad. You can open the Notepad and look over it at any time.

Revising the Notepad

When you have opened the Notepad you can also revise it. You can for example remove individual text segments from the Notepad by clicking on the small box a second time.

The Notepad works for the duration of your visit at study-in-bochum.de. At the end of your visit you can either print it, download it as a PDF file or do nothing with it. However if you do nothing, your entries on the Notepad will be lost.

As a registered user you can also save your Notepad and use it again. Registration is free and also valid for all other areas of this internet site such as the forum or the messaging-function.
