Travelling by bus
Whether within Germany or over a longer stretch: busses are also an inexpensive way to travel. For example the Deutsche Touring GmbH and Eurolines offer regular international service in several cities at www.deutsche-touring.com
. In Bochum most busses depart from the bus terminal (next to the train station). Tickets are available in DER-travel agencies and in the Deutsche Bahn travel agencies.
A bus trip is also an inexpensive opportunity to take a short vacation. It is a bit strenuous to sit for a long time in a bus but that way you can get to know new people, countries and customs. In this way you can go to Paris for a day for approximately 30,- €
or for 80,- €
to 100,- €
you can spend two days in London.
